Description

Reading interest and attitude surveys are a great way to collect data on elementary students’ feelings about reading and their personal interests at the beginning of the school year. The surveys can also be administered multiple times during the school year to monitor changes in students’ interests in and attitudes about reading. Teachers can use the information on students’ interests when planning activities such as a book tasting or personalized book recommendations.

The surveys in this resource are differentiated and include a variety of recording sheets based on what works best for you. Classroom teachers can use the different levels of surveys based on student ability levels within the class.
