Description
These oral reading fluency task cards provide reading buddies with reading fluency practice during literacy centers for reading with expression.
Be sure to use the Character Emotions Charts FREEBIE along with the reading fluency cards to help students determine the characters’ feelings and which expression to use while reading.
Each fluency task card has a scenario to allow the students to think about how the character is feeling. Students then read the quote with the appropriate emotion to practice fluent reading. Easily differentiate instruction with two levels of reading fluency task cards. Level 1 gives students 3 emotion words from which to choose. Level 2 requires students to think of the correct emotion word on their own.
